Global We Stand

– February 5th, 2027 in Copenhagen from 1 pm – 5 pm.

Joyce Namumba Naumann is the founder and chairperson of Global We Stand, a Denmark-based women’s organization that brings together women of all nationalities to support one another through networking, mentorship, education, and community-building.

According to the organization’s story, Joyce was born and raised in Zambia. After moving to Denmark, she experienced many of the challenges that immigrants often face, including loneliness, adapting to a new culture, and finding a sense of belonging. She realized that many other women from different countries were facing similar struggles. This inspired her to create a platform where women could connect, share experiences, and help each other succeed.

The organization’s main goals are to:

  • Build a supportive network for women from all nationalities living in Denmark.
  • Encourage personal and professional development through workshops, mentoring, and networking.
  • Promote entrepreneurship, leadership, and active participation in society.
  • Foster inclusion, cultural understanding, and mutual support.
  • Organises events such as International Women’s Day galas, workshops, and networking activities.
