How to online trade your products in Africa
– Building the largest Nordic e-commerce platform in Africa
– February 26th, 2026
Unlocking Africa’s Next Growth Opportunity for Nordic Companies
Rapid urbanization, a young and digital population, and rising purchasing power are reshaping consumer markets across the continent. By the early 2030s, Africa’s retail market is expected to rival Europe’s in size, making it one of the most significant global growth opportunities of the next generation.
For Nordic companies, this shift represents more than long-term potential. It represents immediate, addressable demand in categories ranging from food and consumer goods to digital services and healthcare.
As growth in Europe becomes increasingly constrained and competition intensifies, international markets with expanding consumer demand are becoming critical to long-term competitiveness.
Nigeria and Ghana sit at the center of this transformation. Together they combine scale, economic momentum and accelerating digital commerce adoption. Millions of consumers are moving into formal retail and online channels, while hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses are actively sourcing new products to meet rising demand.
At this seminar we focus on how Nordic companies can online trade their products in Africa through Trade Enablers´s e-commerce platform.
“We’ve built a comprehensive ecosystem that manages everything from product sourcing to last-mile delivery, creating opportunities for banks, telecoms, and service providers to participate in Africa’s digital commerce revolution without the traditional barriers to entry”.
CEO, Lars Munch Johansen
